THURSDAY BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Meditech is offering optional sessions on the first day of this year’s conference. Thursday will once again be highlighted by a full day seminar entitled “Light and Laser Phototherapy for Tissue Repair and Pain Control” by Chukuka Enwemeka. This course is designed to empower clinicians with the requisite knowledge for evidence-based practice. It presents, in lay terms, an in depth understanding of the biophysics, photochemistry, photobiology of therapeutic light, the rationale for treatment, the indications and contraindications for light-based therapy, and guidelines for effective utilization of therapeutic light and lasers in tissue repair and pain control.
Training Session (Slava Kim and Leonard Rudnick)
Meditech will also be offering four, one hour focused training sessions which will occur concurrent with Chukuka’s seminar. We are pleased to have both Slava Kim and Leonard Rudnick lead these sessions on the use of Low Intensity Laser Therapy. These excellent clinicians will bring their vast knowledge of laser therapy to small groups of clinicians. These events will commence at 9:00am, 10:30am, 1:00pm and 2:00pm. There is limited seating for each of these trainings so we ask that you sign up in advance to reserve your space.
Marketing Workshop (Robert Walker)
Due to overwhelming demand, we are including a marketing workshop on Thursday evening. This two hour, interactive session will focus on how to create a marketing culture within your clinic to help you overcome typical business development challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities. This marketing session will be run by Robert Walker of W. Gifford-Jones Marketing & Media Group. Mr. Walker holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management and has worked in marketing for over 25 years.
The marketing workshop will demonstrate how to design and implement a local sales and marketing plan for your clinic. It will also explain some of the most important marketing tools, communication ideas, advertising tips, media options and current marketing initiatives to benefit clinics. The emphasis is on group exercises, round table discussions, mentoring and analysis of marketing success stories. This session is included with your registration but advanced booking is required to ensure adequate seating. Once again, please register early to reserve your space.
